So, in a way, we project a double standard onto Tiger in a way that no other athlete really receives. We expect him to be perfect off the golf course when others aren’t even really observed. When he is on the course, he is totally focused on one thing, winning the tournament. He can’t just say hi to every person because his mental nature dictates that he think a certain way.
